During the diagnosis of yellow fever, attention should be paid to distinguish it from epidemic hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, dengue fever, viral hepatitis, falciparum malaria and drug-induced hepatitis.
Yellow fever is an acute infectious disease caused by yellow fever virus and spread mainly through the bite of Aedes mosquitoes. The main clinical manifestations are high fever, headache, jaundice, albuminuria, relatively slow pulse and hemorrhage.
The incubation period is 3-6 days. Most of the infected people have mild symptoms, such as fever, headache, mild proteinuria, etc., which can be recovered after several days. Severe cases occur only in about 15% of cases. The course of disease can be divided into 4 stages.
