Bovine infectious rhinotracheitis is a respiratory contact infectious disease of bovine caused by bovine herpesvirus type I (BHV-1).
Bovine infectious rhinotracheitis (IBR), a class II infectious disease, also known as “necrotizing rhinitis” and “red rhinopathy”, is a respiratory contact infectious disease of bovine caused by bovine herpesvirus type I (BHV-1). The clinical manifestations are diverse, mainly respiratory tract, accompanied by conjunctivitis, abortion, mastitis, and sometimes induce calf encephalitis.
