Detailed description
Canine parvovirus was isolated from the feces of sick dogs suffering from enteritis in 1978 by Kelly in Australia and Thomson in Canada at the same time, and since the discovery of the virus, it has been endemic all over the world and is one of the most important virulent infectious diseases that harm dogs.
Caninedistempervirus (CDV) is a single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the family Paramyxoviridae and Morbillivirus. At room temperature, the virus is relatively unstable, especially sensitive to ultraviolet rays, dryness and high temperatures above 50~60 °C (122~140 °F).
The Canine CPV-CDV Ab Combo Testis based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated recombinant antigens. If there are CPV or CDV antibodies in the specimen, a visible T line will appear in the relative window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can indicate the presence of CPV and CDV antibodies in the specimen.
