Detailed description
Chagas disease combination rapid detection kit is a side flow chromatographic immunoassay, which is used to qualitatively detect IgG anti Trypanosoma cruzi (Trypanosoma cruzi) in human serum, plasma or whole blood. It is intended to be used as an auxiliary means for screening tests and diagnosis of Trypanosoma cruzi infection. Any reactive specimen using rapid detection of Chagas disease combination must be confirmed by alternative detection methods and clinical findings. Rapid detection of Chagas disease antibody is a side flow chromatographic immunoassay based on the principle of indirect immunoassay.
Serological examination
IFAT and ELISA were used to detect IgM antibody in acute phase and IgG antibody in chronic phase. In recent years, molecular biological methods have been used to improve the sensitivity and specificity of detection through gene recombination DNA technology. PCR technology is used to detect trypanosoma nucleic acid in blood or tissues of chronic trypanosoma infected persons or trypanosoma cruzi nucleic acid in transmission vectors.
